It doesn’t matter how many weddings we do- we still find ourselves surprised and delighted by couples’ choices that make the day their own. This past summer, Macy & Aaron’s was one of those that really wowed us.
It might have been the elegant chinoiserie patterns or the classic, romantic color palette.
It might have been their stunning florals. Or the dreamy lounge set-up.
But we think, quite simply, it was a combination of all the things that really stood out to us as one to remember.

Outdoor Ceremony Details
Macy & Aaron’s outdoor ceremony was set-up in front of the pond (one of our four options). Their lush floral arch included a mix of baby blue and white florals with loads of beautiful greenery. The aisle was lined with low arrangements in the prettiest gold boxes filled with fluffy white roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and ranunculus flowers, while the entrance to the aisle included two tall white and blue floral arrangements in chinoiserie-patterned vases atop two modern white pillars. What a dream!
The ladies wore soft sage green or light blue mixed neckline floor-length dresses, and carried whimsical bouquets of greenery, cascading amaranth, roses, stock, delphinium (the touch of blue), hydrangea and ranunculus. They coordinated beautifully with the ceremony arrangements!
Macy was stunning in her modern, strapless, fitted mermaid gown and bridal scarf, and Aaron was looking dapper and handsome in his soft tan suit - perfect for summertime!

Reception
If you’ve been dreaming of a soft, romantic, elegant wedding reception, we think Macy & Aaron’s design may offer you a bit of inspiration. The florals were divine- the statement greenery & floral garland wrapped around interior pillars had us gasping in joy. While we love our space without a stitch of decor, this design highlighted all of our best assets.

The chinoiserie pattern vases looked beautiful, paired with soft sage napkins, alternating glassware in clear and blues, sheer table runner, taper candle and gold flatware. Simply stunning.

We also adored the cake table! The blue chinoiserie pattern linen and hand painted wedding cake was an absolute focal point. The gold-rimmed clear glass cake stand let the cake shine but added a wonderful hint of modern elegance, too.

But the design element that was a vibe of its own? The velvet lounge furniture in the middle of the space (do you see that settee? And the blue velvet chairs?). Cozy, yet chic, Macy & Aaron were able to relax and enjoy the moment as their loved ones showered them with speeches. Later, it was a great spot to retreat to when guests needed a break from the dance floor.

Lastly, the floral photo booth wall blended seamlessly with the rest of the decor.

These two had an incredible vision and an even better outcome! We’re grateful to have hosted Macy & Aaron and hope that your marriage is long, prosperous and blessed.
